Twitter Urged to Step Up Efforts Against Disinformation as Firm Lags Behind Google, Meta and TikTok

Twitter lags behind rival firms Google, Meta, and TikTok in the fight against disinformation, the EU said on Thursday. The firms have submitted mandatory progress reports on compliance with the EU's code of practice on disinformation in the last six months, under per the Digital Services Act.
