Alzheimer's disease, a degenerative and irreversible brain disorder that mostly affects the aged population, might be closer to getting a vaccine than ever. AADvac1 vaccine from Axion Neuroscience has shown positive results in Phase II clinical trials. The results were recently published in the journal Nature Aging.
